SAMPLE INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE AND REMINDER EMAILS The
online survey process gathers feedback from various response groups.
In order to secure participation from various response groups and manage
any issues regarding confidentiality, invitation emails are sent out
at before the process begins. These emails cover specific
issues like what response group a participant belongs to, how to address
any concerns regarding assurance of anonymity, how to access the online
survey, how the final report gets generated, who to contact if a participant
has concerns or questions etc.. Samples of the invitation and reminder
emails that are used at various points within the process are as follows: |

Invitation Email Dear [Group Designation], Catholic Education within the [Diocese Name] has endorsed a process of performance enhancement for School Principals. Part of the process involves gathering information from groups of people (e.g. parents, teachers, board members etc.) who interact with and are impacted (either directly or indirectly) by the performance of the school principal. The various response groups were identified when the initial appraisal plan was developed with [Name Here]. The information from the various response groups, including the person being appraised, will be gathered using an online survey. The survey is based upon the Catholic Education Leadership Framework which describes the capabilities that Catholic Education wishes to enhance within their managers and leaders. To access the online survey:
All surveys are confidential and remain the property of Ardjuna.com. The responses will be averaged by response group (e.g. parents, teachers, school board etc.) when generating the final report. This helps to ensure individual anonymity; except for those response groups with a very small number of participants who can be identified by the person being appraised (typically response groups with 3 participants or less - e.g. parish priest etc.). Our preference is to provide feedback from a variety of response groups, especially senior leadership response groups, but we also want to provide members of small response groups with an assurance of anonymity. If you are concerned about being identified by your comments we would encourage you to choose your wording carefully. If you are still concerned about being identified then feel free to refrain from commenting – by providing only scaled question responses.
